About Cycle Design

Cycle Design originated in 1969 as a way for owner Doug Mulligan to support his dirt bike racing habit.  He would sell and service dirt bikes during the week and then race on Sundays. The original dealership was located in a dirt-floored former fruit stand in Putney, Vermont. In the early seventies, Doug relocated the business to Phillipston, Massachusetts. By 1973, Cycle Design had it's first Suzuki Japanese franchise, that was 51 years ago! The dealership has developed significantly from its humble beginnings.

Today we sell ATVs, UTV's, street and dirt motorcycles, scooters, and power equipment. We also have one of the most comprehensive selections of parts and accessories and our Service Department provides top notch service by OEM-trained and certified technicians. We promise we'll take great care of you and your vehicle. We pride ourselves, and strive for excellent customer service. In Memory of Kaze, Bandit and Watashi.

In loving memory of Kazedine, Watashi and Bandit. three very loved companions who stole

our hearts along with that of our customers. While gone, Kaze, Watashi and Bandit all still

live on through our happiest memories and will never be forgotten. Since then Seishin, Ichi

and Mickey have joined our team and have been working hard to fill the big pawprints left

behind and love to greet our customers. Outside of their greeting, they love to play and they LOVE cookies if you have any to share!
